Job Opportunity: Service Technician

 We are seeking a Service Technician to join our dedicated team in installing, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of municipal and industrial water and wastewater instrumentation, including samplers, flowmeters, pumps, and more. This role is vital in ensuring the effective operation and reliability of water management systems across the NJ, NY, Metro area.

 

Key Purpose

To install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair municipal/industrial water and wastewater instrumentation, including samplers, flowmeters, pumps, and more.

 

Requirements 

  • High school or equivalent 

  • Clean driving record

  • Computer literate

  • Ability to interface with customers

  • Mechanically inclined mindset; however, no prior experience is necessary as we will train

  • Requires the ability to enter manholes with safety equipment at times

Key Accountabilities

  • Teamwork/Safety

You will primarily work in two-person teams throughout the NJ, NY, and Metro area. Both independently and as a member of a team, you will be self-directed, understand the importance of being proactive, and take responsibility for safety. 

  •  Communication/Computer Skills

The work requires excellent communication skills, a customer service orientation, and the ability to provide accurate technical records for team members and customers in an organized and timely manner. You will use CRM programs to enter data.

  •  Electronic Instrumentation Repair 

You will develop specialized product knowledge and learn technical skills, including process controls and sensor technology. Strong technological adaptability is also important.

  •  Installations/Construction Skills

You will use knowledge and skills from multiple trades, such as carpentry, mechanical, basic electrical, and construction, to help create and complete custom installations.

Experience in this field is a plus; however, no prior experience is necessary as we will train the appropriate candidate.
