PHAS SAMPLING KITS
Teledyne ISCO is pleased to announce the release of PFAS specific sampling kits to assist users in obtaining non-contaminated PFAS water samples.
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are human-made chemicals found everywhere in the environment and are a known serious health risk. They provide many possible sources for water contamination. Regulation demands that PFAS be measured to very low limits (i.e., parts per trillion). Therefore, accurate PFAS sampling requires using specific materials that do not add PFAS to the samples or absorb it from them.
Teledyne ISCO developed these kits to make PFAS sampling accurate and easy. The kits are for use by industrial clients, pre-treatment coordinators, and labs, as regulatory agencies have started to establish strict PFAS monitoring requirements for wastewater discharge permits and taking legal action against industrial PFAS polluters. This regulatory activity makes it necessary for such industries to sample and test for PFAS contamination in and within a designated distance from their facility. The availability of these kits with PFAS dedicated water samplers serves to simplify clients’ sample collection efforts.
